Nothing says fall bride better than pumpkin centerpieces and earthy toned bridesmaids’ dresses but what about the before/getting ready party? I’m obsessed with Bath and Body Works, as most of us are, so gifting your gals with a mini pumpkin scented lotion will absolutely put a smile on their faces and waft pumpkin scents through the isles at the ceremony!

Available at Bath & Body Works

Another one of my fall goodies that would totally entice me to stand 5 hours in high heels for my bestie is Victoria’s Secrets, Pumpkin Brûlée lip gloss. This tastes as good as it sounds and their formula is perfect! It’s non greasy yet feels smooth and doesn’t bleed into the rest of the face! You’ll love, love the smell and will definitely have to refrain from wanting to lick it off!

What’s a getting ready party without a cocktail? Of course, they make a pumpkin version as you knew they would! This recipe is so easy and makes it perfect for your Pumpkin Spice extravaganza!

INGREDIENTS

Pumpkin Juice

  • 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 2 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp water

Rimming Sugar

  • 2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Cocktail

  • Champagne
  • Garnish: whipped cream, cinnamon stick, rimming sugar (recipe below)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and sugar. Cook the mixture down slightly, stirring constantly, for approximately a few minutes. The mixture should still be a puree, so don’t cook it down too far!
  2. Remove mixture from heat and strain through a fine mesh sieve. Discard remaining puree. Cool completely before using in the refrigerator.
  3. When you are ready to make the drinks, in a small bowl, stir together ingredients for the rimming sugar. Wet the rims of 4 champagne glasses and rim them with the pumpkin spice sugar. Set aside.
  4. Add 1 1/2 oz of the strained pumpkin juice to the champagne glasses and give the mixture a stir.
  5. Fill each glass to the top with champagne.
  6. Top each with whipped cream, a cinnamon stick and a sprinkle of the remaining rimming sugar.
  7. Serve immediately.

I hope by now you’re in the mood to run to your nearest coffee joint and grab a pumpkin spice latte with extra whip cream! While you’re there, be sure to take your latest fall edition bridal magazine to enjoy while sipping. Here’s a few below, featuring yours truly, AW Wedding & Co.
